Dr Sachin Shah
Dentist - GDC no. 85895
Sachin
graduated from
Guy's, King's and St Thomas's Dental Institute in 2005.
After
working as a Senior House Officer in Oral &
Maxillo-Facial Surgery at the
Queen Elizabeth Hospital in
King's Lynn for a year, he went on to earn his
Membership of
the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of
Surgeons
in 2007. In 2010, he completed the
Postgraduate Certificate in Restorative Dental
Practice at the Eastman Dental
Institute,
which has allowed him to enhance his clinical skills and offer
a
superior level of care to his
patients. He is an
experienced General Dental Practitioner having worked in high
street
dental practice since 2007.
Sachin provides both NHS and Private Dentistry here at the Village Dental Practice. He works on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
Chris Boddy
Dental Hygienist - GDC no. 3106
Chris
is our resident Hygienist, having
worked at the practice for the past 19 years.
She qualified
from Guys Hospital in March 1986 with a Diploma in Dental
Hygiene.
She works on Thursday afternoons.
Nancy Cole
Dental Nurse - GDC no. 118160
Nancy was born in Knebworth and has lived here in the village ever since. She became a dental nurse straight after leaving school, working first in Stevenage and then in Knebworth. After having her family, she took a break for some time before returning to dentistry. She started here at the Village Dental Practice in 2000. She really enjoys her job as it enables her to meet many people she knows locally. In her spare time she is an avid reader and also loves walking.
Su Mills
Dental Nurse - GDC no. 118156
Su
qualified as a Dental Surgery Assistant from the Eastman Dental
Institute in 1993, and has worked at the Village Dental Practice
for the last 16 years. She is also a regular volunteer for
the dental charity Bridge2Aid, having been to Tanzania
seven times. With this charity she is involved
in helping to train local healthcare workers to provide
dental care in remote areas. Su enjoys helping and meeting all of
our patients.
Tracey Evans
Dental Nurse - GDC no. 118159
Tracey has been a dental nurse for almost 30
years, and has been working here, at the Village Dental Practice
for the last 20 years. She has known many of the patients since
they were children. She really enjoys her job, especially helping
nervous patients feel at ease. She likes to keep up-to-date with
new developments in the profession, so that she
can advise
patients on how to improve their oral health. Last year she gained
a qualification in fluoride application. Tracey too has
volunteered for the charity Bridge2Aid, having been to Tanzania
several times. There she has helped to train local healthcare
workers to provide emergency dental care. In her spare time she
loves spending time with her family; she has three young
grandchildren who keep her busy.
