VILLAGE DENTAL PRACTICE
Knebworth
Village Dental Practice was established in 1993 by Dr Elizabeth Stringer, and has been providing dental care for families in Knebworth and the surrounding areas ever since.
In
2015
the practice was taken over by Dr Sachin
Shah. He hopes to grow the practice
by extending the opening hours of the surgery to
five days per week, as well as offering a wider range of
treatments in the future.
We
have
a team of long-standing members of staff with a
wealth of experience.
The
practice is located in the centre
of the village on Station Road, just a few
minutes walk
from Knebworth Railway Station. There is plenty of parking
available on
Station Road and Pondcroft Road,
just
outside the practice.
The
practice is at ground floor level
and so we are easily accessible.

In case of emergency, please phone the pratice, and we will endeavour to arrange an emergency appointment within 24 hours. Outside normal working hours, please telephone the practice and you will be given instructions on how to contact an out of hours emergency dental service.
Cancellation Policy
If you wish to cancel an appointment please give us at least 24 hours notice, so that we may offer your appointment to another patient.
Please note that if you fail to attend NHS appointments on multiple occasions, or cancel appointments without giving 24 hours notice, we may no longer be able to see you as an NHS patient.
If you fail to attend a Private appointment, or cancel without giving 24 hours notice, a charge may be incurred. The charge would normally be £1 for every minute missed i.e. £15 for a 15 minute appointment and £30 for a 30 minute appointment etc.
Confidentiality Statement
We comply with the Data Protection Act 1998, and we have procedures in place to ensure that personal information about patients is kept securely.
Compliance
All our staff are registered with the General Dental Council (GDC), and we follow the GDC's Standards for the Dental Team.
We are registered with the Care Quality Commision (CQC).
At
Village Dental Practice, we follow recommended guidelines with
regard to the Decontamination of equipment and the prevention of
cross infection.
Complaints Policy
If you have a complaint, concern or suggestion about any aspect of our practice, please let us know. At Village Dental Practice we take complaints very seriously and try to ensure that all our patients are pleased with their experience of our service. Concerns can be raised in person, over the phone or in writing/by email. The person responsible for dealing with complaints is Dr Sachin Shah, the practice principal. Please be assured, that all complaints will be dealt with promptly and in a courteous manner, so that the matter is resolved as quickly as possible. We can supply you with a copy of the practice complaints procedure if you wish.
